Veneers

A dental veneer is a thin custom-designed shell of tooth-like hard ceramic material placed over the tooth surface, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth or to protect a damaged or undeveloped tooth surface.  This is commonly used as a cheaper cosmetic remedy in lieu of orthodontics (braces) and you may be required to wear a protective appliance while you sleep, especially if you tend to grind, or brux, your teeth.
