Dr. Leslie Johnson brings more than 34 years of dental experience to each of his patients at Rocky Mountain Dental Care, and his approachable, friendly manner has patients returning time and time again. Dr. Johnson continues to improve his practice through his involvement in various regional chapters of the American Dental Association. He is a continuing education member of the Seattle Seminar Series Mountain West Dental Forum.
Dr. Johnson grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, with four other siblings. After receiving his degree in English Literature from Yale in 1968, he moved to San Francisco to study at the San Francisco Art Institute. He then changed directions and received his dental training at the University of California School of Dentistry at San Francisco.
Dr. Johnson worked as a private practice dentist in Oakland, California for many years before he moved to Fort Collins to start Rocky Mountain Dental Care, which he owns and operates. He is an avid volunteer and has been a 9 Health Fair volunteer for several years. He also loves to spend time with his grandkids, read, bike, and go on walks with his wife, Carol, and their golden retriever, Maggie May.

Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Carol Johnson brings her passion for people and amazing memory to Rocky Mountain Dental Care. She is the co-owner of Rocky Mountain Dental and has been the marketing director since 2007. She was also the office manager of Dr. Johnson’s practice in California.
She loves walking with Dr. Johnson and their dog Maggie May, as well as doing yoga and spending time with her four grandchildren. She also enjoys using her memory to dominate at poker and bridge. Carol is an avid football and sport enthusiast. While living in California she was always rooting for the Oakland Raiders, but since moving to Fort Collins, the Denver Broncos have become her team. GO BRONCOS! She also enjoys watching ‘trash TV’, like Cat.

Dr. Emily Wilson (formerly Dr. Riesgraf) brings a passion for continuous learning and patient-centered care to Rocky Mountain Dental Care. Committed to providing the highest standard of modern care, Dr. Emily completes over 200 hours of continuing education each year with advanced training in Invisalign, veneers, dental implants, and root canals. She stays actively involved in the broader dental community as President of the Larimer County Dental Society, a delegate for both the American Dental Association and Colorado Dental Association, and an active member of The Mountain West Study Club and Clearly Select Orthodontic Study Club.
Dr. Emily grew up in Eagan, Minnesota, with a younger brother and sister who went on to pursue teaching and nursing. Dr. Emily’s passion for following in her pediatric dentist’s footsteps led her to Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she completed both her undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish and dental school. She raced as bow seat on Marquette’s women’s rowing team in undergrad and chaired the sustainability department at Marquette Dental, instilling in her a deep appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and community leadership.
Before stepping in as Dr. Johnson’s partner and successor at Rocky Mountain Dental Care, Dr. Emily spent five years successfully practicing in Fort Collins and building strong relationships with her patients who she is excited to introduce to this practice. Outside of the office, she loves taking full advantage of Northern Colorado and can usually be found skiing, running, hiking, tandem biking, playing pickleball, trying local food trucks, or listening to live music in Old Town. At home, she enjoys sewing, pottery, and crafting alongside her husband, Andrew (who works in space weather), and their orange cat, Norman.

The queen of multi-task, Mandy is the office’s Jill-of-all-trades. She used to be both the front office assistant and the on-call dental assistant, but now has moved into Djinn’s spot as Office Manager. She prides herself on taking the best care of all our patients. From knowing the ins and outs of your insurance plan to making sure you had a wonderful experience with us during your visit. She works closely with Dr. Johnson and the rest of the office staff to make your experience with us is as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
When she isn’t working, Mandy enjoys spending time with her two daughters and their menagerie of pets. They have three dogs, two cats and two leopard geckos. As a family they love visiting dog parks and taking trail walks with their dogs, shopping, swimming and being outside enjoying nature.

Our dental hygienist, Corinne has been working in the dental field her entire adult life, and her passion is helping her patients discover how healthy their mouths can be and has specialized in periodontal problems. Along with her expertise in teeth cleaning and x-rays, Corinne is also an advocate for education and loves to help patients understand ways to better take care of their teeth on their own, outside of the office.
Originally from Ohio, Corinne attended college in Cleveland for dental hygiene. Elizabeth has been in preventive healthcare her entire adult life. After high school she graduated from the dental hygiene program at St. Petersburg College, St. Pete, FL, but only practiced for 5 years. When she moved to Ft Collins she got re-trained and relicensed in dental hygiene in 2002. She has 40 years experience in nutrition, and preventing infectious and chronic diseases. Many patients are surprised when she teaches them that dentists were our country’s first nutrition experts because the mouth can reflect overall health status. She loves using that knowledge to teach patients how to improve periodontal disease and prevent tooth decay.
She moved to CO for the skiing, but now mostly snowshoes, hikes, rides snowmobiles, cycles and floats on her kayak. Her son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter live in Fort Collins. He is the manager of FNBO, on Oak Street.
With 15 years of experience Ramsey takes great pride in her career in the dental field. She has been blessed to have found something that she loves and will continue to love. Patients have become more than just patients in her eyes, many of them have become friends. The main reason she loves doing what she does, is to see the smile on our patients faces after not smiling for many years due to the smile they were never able to show. She is happily married to her loving husband Michael, with 3 boys. She loves animals too, not many people can say that they have a pet duck name Dwight, who lives in their home and travels with them. They also have a 3-legged dog named Tipsy. Outside adventures, camping, and swimming are on the top of their list of fun things to do as a family.
With 12 years of experience in dentistry, Lizz truly does it all. From her beginnings as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to her experience in office management, she has built a diverse career rooted in patient care, leadership, and a genuine love for dentistry.
Lizz began her journey at IBMC College, where she studied dental assisting. Over the years, she has gained experience in pediatric dentistry, private practice, and public health, and even returned to the classroom to teach and mentor the next generation of dental assistants.
Today, Lizz brings that experience to every aspect of the dental office, from chairside assisting and treatment planning to scheduling, insurance coordination, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she combines her knowledge and professionalism with a quick, witty sense of humor that helps put patients at ease and keeps the team smiling.
Above all, Lizz is passionate about making every patient feel comfortable, heard, and supported. She brings the same warmth, energy, and dedication to her work that she brings to her greatest role outside the office: being a proud mom of three beautiful children.

As our previous office manager for 11 years, Djinn was a very familiar face in the office up until December 2020. She has since moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ with her long-time boyfriend Steve. When she isn’t off adventuring outdoors, she is studying hard and working towards her nursing degree. We are very happy to still have her remote presence working closely with Mandy and Dr. Johnson to keep the bills, bookkeeping, and other office tasks in order. She misses our patients and staff, and we miss her terribly!
